Rachel  Rena  Pierce

Rachel Rena Nobles was born February 9, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Willie Mae Nobles. Rachel was the second of eight children. She attended the St. Louis Public Schools System and received her diploma from Central High School.
In 1982, Rachel met Mr. William H. Pierce Sr. and later was joined in holy matrimony on April 2, 1999. They were extremely devoted to each other and remained married until her passing.
Rachel gave her life to Jesus Christ at an early age and joined Believers Temple Word Fellowship Church under the leadership of Bishop Calvin Scott.
She worked for Frick Company (TALX) for 17 years and retired. Rachel was a part owner of Antoine Barber College until her passing.
Rachel was a hard working lady, who had a good work ethic, was dependable, loving, and always made sure her family was taken good care of. She was a good listener, and to know her was to like her. Cooking was her passion; in 2003 she opened her own Restaurant, Will’s Barbecue and Catering Company.
Rachel departed this life on January 24, 2013 at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Rachel leaves her loving memories to be cherished by: her loving husband, William H. Pierce, 3 children, Diane Nobles, Tony Nobles (Lasha), William Pierce Jr., two step-children, Stephanie Moore and Sadecki Pierce, (all of St. Louis, MO) 6 grandchildren, Andrea, Tony, Keiona, Justin, Jordan and Jalen; 7 siblings, 2 sisters and five brothers, two aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews, other cousins and friends.
